Randy Greene's - Hot Pontiac's

Image
This is a very rare Canadian built 1970 Pontiac GTO that's owned by Randy Greene, he is retired from United States Marine Corps where he worked on helicopters.  The GTO had some serious upgrades over the years, starting with a hopped-up 455 c.i. Pontiac engine equipped with a big Holley carburetor supplying the air/fuel mixture. It's mounted on top of an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.   The fumes exit through long-tube headers & Flowmaster mufflers. The 455 is backed up with a 3-speed automatic transmission, that was filled with a 3000 rpm high-stall torque converter and it's controlled by a Hurst His & Hers shifter .  The chassis was filled with the best parts from QA1, including control arms, sway-bars and heavy duty end links. The rear end was filled with 3:42:1 gears and a posi-traction differential.    Randy said he has owned the car for

It all started with Joel Rosen, who in the 1960s and early 1970s built the now legendary Motion Camaros, Chevelles and Corvettes. Joel Rosen had so much faith in his products that he offered an unconditional warranty for is performance cars. His cars carried this message: "We think so much of our Phase III super-cars that we guarantee they will turn at least 120 mph in 11.50 seconds or better with an M/P-approved driver. Phase III cars are completely street-able, reliable machines that will run these times
