Randy Greene's - Hot Pontiac's

      This is a very rare Canadian built 1970 Pontiac GTO that's owned by Randy Greene, he is retired from United States Marine Corps where he worked on helicopters.  The GTO had some serious upgrades over the years, starting with a hopped-up 455 c.i. Pontiac engine equipped with a big Holley carburetor supplying the air/fuel mixture. It's mounted on top of an aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.   The fumes exit through long-tube headers & Flowmaster mufflers. A high lift-long duration cam was installed giving the exhaust notes that nice rump- atty-rump sound! The 455 is backed up with a 3-speed automatic transmission, that was filled with a 3000 rpm high-stall torque converter and it's controlled by a Hurst His & Hers shifter .  The chassis was filled with the best parts from QA1, including control arms, sway-bars and heavy duty end links. 1976 Pontiac Firebird Pro/Street

                              At any given weekend in America in the 1980's you could find a car like this at a car show, drive- in or just cruising the streets showing off .  The trend of Pro-Street started taking shape in the mid 1970's after the Street Freak movement, these cars were considered more street friendly because the rear tires were tucked in and they had some sort of exhaust system.   Don't think for one minute that these cars were slow by any means . They were just as powerful as before  and you could say that they were getting even more horsepower .  In the 80's builders were looking for the next new big thing to put into their cars , blowers & nitrous oxide , if one kit wasn't enough then three must be better , who needs two carbs when you could put on four of them . 1968 Pontiac Firebird

      This 68' Firebird is a true beast ,sporting a 565 CID Reher-Morrison built big block Chevy with 1000HP.  Plus it has a 600HP Nitrous fogger  system on tap.. The big 565 is backed by an air-shifted BTE TH-400 Transmission  (with trans-brake).  It's been fitted with a Neal Chance bolt-together 4000 RPM torque converter.   Topping the 565 is a fully tuned 1200 CFM Dominator carb. that's fed by a Magna Fuel 500 electric fuel pump.         Keeping the enormous mill cooled is a massive aluminum radiator & CSR aluminum electric water pump . A complete MSD  ignition system provides the spark needed to get things going.  While a set of ceramic-coated Lemons headers scavenge the spent fumes .    The rear end is a Ford 9-inch with a back brace , inside we find a spool with a 4.30: gear set and hardened 31 spline axles.
