Scott Robinson's "Bionic Wasp" 68' Camaro

Scott Robinson is from southern California and has been into cars his whole life, his earliest memories recount his time spent with his father and his friends. Scott's father raced all types of vehicles, drag boats, sand rails, and cars. These experiences made a major impression on Scott and he couldn't wait to be old enough to drive. When he was old enough, he got heavy into off-road motorcycles then when he got his driver's license all bets were off.  Scott forgot about racing motorcycles and went all in and started racing cars. The first car he raced wasn't car at all, it was a 1975 Chevy van. But this wasn't  any old worn out work van. This van belonged to Scott's father, it featured  a destroked 400 cube small-block built by Scott's Dad, it's backed up with a TH-400 automatic transmission and a narrowed 12-bolt rear end. Scott said it was fun ride for his first car, and when he graduated high-school his father gave it to him.   The father and son

About Shop Tour

Filming for a Drag Racing only T.V. show . It is called Shop Tour Hardcore Drag Racing .

Hi Everyone, I am trying to build an interest in a concept that I have .

I started filming , and I'm going to post it on my YouTube channel :

shop tour hardcore drag racing .

I hope a network might want to show it in the future .

This is going to be a hardcore Drag Racing only show, This will not be a how to show, no drift cars , road race cars , pro touring cars , no NASCAR racing, If it has turns I will not cover it.

This show will travel in the beginning to local machine shops and engine building shops in the New Jersey area , as interest grows I hope to start traveling across America filming at other locations.

The next part of the show would be going to different Speed Equipment manufactures facilities , where we actually show you how the parts that you use are made and how they are designed . Examples : Carbs , intake manifolds , cams , ignition systems , fuel injection systems , cranks , rods , blowers & turbos.

I will also have a segment called What's in the Garage . This would be us traveling to local home garages and small town race shops to show what the little guy is building .

Terms used in the show would be Example : 4 link or ladder bars , lenco or Bruno , Stall speed and how many kits do you have.

I will not be showing cars that have 20 inch rims with a K&N Filter and loud fart can muffler that some people may call a race car . I call this a street car.

If you would like your car featured on the show it must meet certain conditions and a photo and description must be submitted.

I will also be traveling to Drag strips to interview drivers from the past and present and to showcase their cars & talents. I would like to show the Super Comp / Super Pro / Sportsman racers, & Pro-Mod & Mountain Motor Pro-stock cars , These are the people who don't get any air time or recognition .

Also at car shows and racing events I would like to have a display table , to showcase my sponsors products ,Ex. fliers, shirts, banners , business cards from suppliers and of course sample parts .

There will also be giveaways from product sponsors. If your car is featured you will entered to win a prize .

I also go to the York US30 Reunion each year in York , PA where al the old Super Stock & Funny Car drivers go . They do a awesome crackle event there . There is also a great museum there the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing .

I would cover not only NHRA but also ADRL , South East Gassers , IHRA , NETO . Grudge cars and Radical Pro-Street cars and many more. (Street/Strip cars 1985 and older) , at this time.

I am looking for any support, If anyone would like to be a sponsor for my show, I would mention your product and company at the beginning and at the end of the show and direct viewers to your website or address for more information.

I want to show as much content as I can , I hate ads as much as anyone but ads help get the content out there. And funds are needed to cover traveling expenses and filming costs.

I would also like to do a product show case , where a sponsor would send me a sample part, where I can show it and describe it great detail. If you would like it returned just send me a return label. Also if you have any t-shirts (2XL) or hats , send me a few and I will wear them during filming . To promote your company through out filming.

I would like to thank the whole racing  community for all your support so I can make this a

full time job !

Tune in for no drama Drag Racing , this will be the real deal !
