Scott Robinson's "Bionic Wasp" 68' Camaro

Scott Robinson is from southern California and has been into cars his whole life, his earliest memories recount his time spent with his father and his friends. Scott's father raced all types of vehicles, drag boats, sand rails, and cars. These experiences made a major impression on Scott and he couldn't wait to be old enough to drive. When he was old enough, he got heavy into off-road motorcycles then when he got his driver's license all bets were off.  Scott forgot about racing motorcycles and went all in and started racing cars. The first car he raced wasn't car at all, it was a 1975 Chevy van. But this wasn't  any old worn out work van. This van belonged to Scott's father, it featured  a destroked 400 cube small-block built by Scott's Dad, it's backed up with a TH-400 automatic transmission and a narrowed 12-bolt rear end. Scott said it was fun ride for his first car, and when he graduated high-school his father gave it to him.   The father and son

1973 Baldwin - Motion Phase III

The most insane builder of true street Muscle Cars was Baldwin-Motion Super Cars.

Starting in 1967 and ending in 1974 , Baldwin-Motion offered SS (425-HP) and Phase III (500-HP and up) Big block Camaro's , Nova's , Chevelle's and Corvette Street Racer Specials . Phase III 427 and 454 cars came with a written money back quarter mile performance guarantee from Joel Rosen that stated:

(We think so much of our Phase III Super Cars that we guarantee that they will turn at least 120 MPH in 11.50seconds or better)  There never was a single comeback !

Baldwin-Motion also had their own R&D cars , They raced at NHRA and AHRA events and did quite well.

 1957 Nash Metropolitan

The Nash Metropolitan was assembled in England and marketed from 1953 to 1961by Nash, then by AMC.  You could get a 1.2 L inline 4 cylinder or the big block 1.5 L .

I saw this original  example at a gas station today and thought , this would make a cool Hot Rod or Gasser ! You can't get more oddball then this  .

This Nash Metro is rocking a Small Block Chevy sporting a tunnel ram intake , 2 Edelbrock carb's , and custom Dice air filters .

This little Nash is so cool , it won the Hot Wheels Car show and and it was picked to become a new Hot Wheels die-cast car.

 Tony Harlin's Dart GT

Tony Harlin is from Nanuet ,New York and when the weather is warm he can be seen driving this 1100 HP beast on the streets , from NY to Maryland.

This car has been given the title,  (The Worlds First Pro/Street Car) when it was in Hot Rod magazine in the early 70's

It features a 528 Chrysler Gen II Hemi with A Blower Shop 8-71 Blower, It's backed up by a 727 trans and a narrowed Dana 60 rear . that was sourced from a Dragster when the car was first built . The convertible top still functions as normal. The trunk is filled with a giant polished fuel cell that just fits between the wheel tubs.

The front suspension features a tubular K-Frame with coil over shocks & the rear 4 link keeps those huge by large slicks planted. While custom baffled Zoomie pipes make those sweet sounds .

I personally worked on this car and I can say, Tony's  car is Freaking Amazing to see in person . When the sun hits that candy apple paint, it just pops !
