1970 Corvette Street Machine

                 Street Freak Special ! This 1970 Corvette has such an outrageous custom paint job that it will blind you. The car is a time capsule bringing you back to 1975 when disco was popular, it also was a time when horsepower wasn't enough to win at shows so the people mixed street machine power with lowrider good looks. The Vette features a full custom interior, supercharged small block engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. The interior is filled with a roll bar, metallic vinyl interior accents and wood trim, finishing off the 70's vibe it rolls on classic wire wheels.     The engine is a small-block Chevy 400, with a Dyers 6V-71supercharger. It has a pump gas friendly 8.5:1 CR., The supercharger is feed by two boost-referenced Holley 650 CFM  carbs. Ignition is handled by a MSD products.  The small-block is backed up by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The fumes exit in style with chrome 4-into one side pipes that make this 71' Corvette rumble. Power

1940 Willys Coupe Gasser

This 1940 Willys is street driven in Colorado & features a 528 CI Mopar Hemi . It has an iron block with 8.7:1 custom JE pistons and Indy ported race heads. ARP studs keep it glued together. The 4150 steel crank swings Eagle H-Beam connecting rods and an ATI balancer keeps the big Hemi from shaking to bits . It was Dyno'd at 1031 Horsepower & 900 lb/ft of Torque . A complete MSD ignition system keeps the sparks flying under the boost pressure supplied by the polished 14-71 Hi-Helix supercharger by the Blower Shop. It's running a drive ratio of 1:1 giving it 14 Psi through the traps. A pair of Holley 800 CFM Double Pumpers mix the fumes and this healthy Hemi is topped off a vintage BDS scoop . Chris Bower's 1975 Plymouth Duster

                                                                                      Chris Bower is from Cleveland, Ohio with his 1975 Plymouth Duster Chris said he has a car that most car enthusiasts would love to have, his 1975 Plymouth  Gold Duster , it  was his first car, he bought it back in 1988 when he was16 years old. Chris stated he grew up in family of  Mechanics and Drag Racers, so you can say it was in his DNA from the beginning. He bought it for $300 , money earned from being a dish washer at a local college, Chris drove it to high school for 2 years then in 1991 he painted to Lime Green. Chris ran ET Bracket Pro and Sportsman classes in and around Ohio, his local track is Pacemakers in Mt Vernon Ohio a little 1/8 th mile track.   In 2003 Chris decided to have it painted Burnt Orange and put it back on the street to enjoy both on the street and track, he said that he  recently got into the Hard Tire heads up racing , and likes the format much better than ET. Manson Myles 1968 Dodge Dart 270

This is the second car we are featuring from Manson Myles , it is a 1968 Dodge Dart 270.  The car will be on display at the Summit Racing store in Atlanta , Georgia   March 15th 2021 . The previous owner was Pat Moore from North Carolina.  His dream was to build a street strip machine that was respected and feared.  After 2 blown engines and some health issues he simply wanted something he could drive and unloaded the car in a trade to his good buddy David Robinson.  Before David got too attached to the car, Manson talked David into selling it to him.  As soon as Manson Brought it home he began the work of completing Pats dream.     The engine is a  fresh short block with 10.5:1 compression,  and a  Hughes camshaft with over .550lift bumps the valves. Al Levine's Killer 1963 Plymouth Savoy

                                                                      If Darth Vader Had a Hot Rod this would be it !     Al Levine is from Great Neck, New York,but you can say his sinister looking 1963 Plymouth Savoy could be from the Death Star . This is a car that any movie villain would want . The car is black on black with minimal bright work which blends in quite nicely on the streets of New York .   What else does that villain want you ask ? How about so much power you can't keep it under the hood .   The power in question comes from a BDS Stage 3 10/71 Supercharged 540 cube Hemi .     Even Darth is impressed with the mighty Hemi !   The engine is a Mopar Mega block with forged 4.5 stroke crank swinging  Diamond pistons with a 4.380 bore for a total of 540 cubic inches. Manson Myles 1973 Cuda '

   Manson has some great Mopar's he would like to share with us, so I said sure lets show them all . Instead of more then one post I'm going to post them on his own page , check it out under (More)                                    The first car we featuring is a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda .             The first thing that stands out is the Plum Crazy Purple paint.             Manson purchased the car in 1999 after looking for a Cuda' for 13 years.  This is a real BS23 car.  It was featured in 2001 issue of Mopar Muscle magazine .  Engine Room features : The 426 wedge that fills the frame rails , was not an option in 1973 but it gets the job done . It is equipped with a 11:1 Cr. short block , Lunati Bracket Master II cam shaft. With  Edelbrock stage 1 heads with 1.5 roller rockers. Air and fuel flow through an Offenhauser 360 dual quad intake with two 625   Carter Competition carbs.     A MSD Pro billet distributor & 6AL2 box lights the fire and Taylor 409 plug

Al Wagner's 1970 Plymouth Duster

                                                Al Wagner's 1970 Plymouth Duster          Al Wagner  started Drag Racing in a 13.0 second Plymouth Road Runner back in 1972.  He kept improving it and reached 11.0 second runs back in the early 80's with a steel block 383/4 speed trans.  He ran the car  for over 13 years,  and sold it in 1982 .  Al stated , It was time to step it up.      In 1983 he purchased the current Duster we see here .  With just a little chassis work Al ran bracket races with it and also super street (10.90 index).      He had an 8th place finish in the S/ST class back in 1986, and raced the car in that current state until he decided to totally re-chassis the car in 1989.  The car was taken to Vallow Body & Chassis in Pontiac, IL. The car is currently a round tube chassis , with a funny car cage, 4 link rear , and a  strut front end.   For power a 572 Wedge was installed with aluminum rods.  The block and heads are by Indy Cylinder Head,
